Interesting idea, but I can't get past all of the colors - the chairs and pillows, plus the concrete floors and table. Nothing much appeals to me with this kitchen.

If I did the barn style door there, it would've been a different appearance.  I'm thinking more the frosted glass inside of black frames.  It's a crowded space so I get the reasoning for using the barn style.

I like the barn door... Have liked them since well before they became trendy... The rest of the room, eh, not at all... The table, chairs, window coverings, floor and light fixture are all relatively awful and do not ever expect me to sit on a bench with no back...

I like the enclosure.  I stayed at a hotel that had that kind of door for the bathroom.

I like it but, if you are going to do a “barn door” closure, repurposing a real barn door looks the best, IMO. Of course, that is a weathered look and this is not.

I think it's to trendy, in a few years it will be out of style and then you're stuck with it. I'll take the traditional look anyday!

I love the pantry. I'm a big fan of those doors.

I like the room except for the big flowered chair. Yes, the kitchen could use a pop of color but this chair is too much.

Other than that, I love this room! I want a pantry and the pantry doors, please!!! 

Edited to Add: Looking at the picture again there are already a lot of pops of color...but that chair needs replacing! A nice comfy, big chair...maybe pale yellow?
