I've had moderate success in forcing bulbs indoors over the years. A friend of mine finds really pretty Fenton bowls at antique stores to use for her bulbs. I used my mother's old Corning Ware bake set.
Last week, Wegmans had bulbs in vases from a company called Bloomakers (one "m"). I bought one tulip bulb in a glass vase to try. This company has specially cultivated indoor bulbs. It started to bloom today.
They have singles and multiples and various kinds of bulbs, not just tulips.
I am going to buy a different bulb every week and have a nice grouping of flowers all winter.
Their website has the list of retailers if you want find them.

Thanks, @VaBelle35, I can use a bit of Spring right about now. I'm going to the website now. We are into the 2nd week of near zero temps and snow
