Re: Incorporating Color Into A Neutral Room

That's way too much table for me. Generally speaking, I like the room.

Love the stone and the French doors -- everything else can go (okay, I'd keep the fruit and the flowers).

That is very pretty.

Well-balanced, nice mix of textures, and I do like the blend of color with neutral.

Re: Incorporating Color Into A Neutral Room

I like this room. Looks nice. I could be comfortable there.

If it was my home, the table is a bit cluttered, so I would remove the candlesticks & the tall flowers. I don’t like food displayed anywhere but a kitchen or dining room so the apples have to go. I would choose a darker color sofa and probably use warm colors instead of blue as accents.

@jubilant

It's a beautiful room .. I'd make a few changes:

It looks like all walls are stone - I think it would be better if the wall with the fireplace would be the only one.  Painted walls IMO would offer your own color choices.  Also, I'd get rid of the candle stands on the coffee table & maybe those round metal pcs. on the bottom.

Otherwise I think it's very nice.  Esp. with the double set of french doors that offer so much natural light.  I'd like to see the whole room though.

Thanks for posting.

Re: Incorporating Color Into A Neutral Room

It's OK but not how I would decorate it. The room appears sparsely decorated but the coffee table is too big and cluttered for me.  I'd need to add some more color and more variation of the neutral tones.

Re: Incorporating Color Into A Neutral Room

I really like it, and I would have also used color candles other than white in the candlesticks as well for even a bit more color....
