In person this must be a large room to have 2 fireplaces. I would not be comfortable with so many different patterns, but it does look like a warm and inviting room to visit. Thank you for sharing.

That's what I thought .... if the room's actual measurements, for example, were 22 x 30 feet, it might not look so busy.   All the furniture looks crammed together in the photo.

Awful!  Too much clutter, too many patterns.  Doesn't anyone post pix of more "modern" minimalist rooms?  Most of the ones I've seen here, IMO, are way overdone.

I like the colors but I do not like the designs.

The only thing I kind of like in the room is the distressed mirror.

I would have to redecorate asap.

No not a fan--there are too many patterns that clash--I need pieces that anchor a room and make it seem like you are walking into a stable area and not a whirlwind of competing patterns---and of course, for me way too much clutter

I think the room is very balanced.  I probably would have liked it more in 2002 when my eye enjoyed more maximalist design than it does today.

I like to use color & prints in my home, but I'm not liking this room. I prefer to use prints only on accessories like pillows, rugs, etc. I don't care for the prints on the chairs and sofa at all. I don't like the distressed mirrors, the wall color, or those wood tables. The fireplace, rug, and bookshelves are ok.

I like it all, except for the red and white striped chairs.
