Re: How large is your dinnerware collection?

This is a fun thread to read. I have 12 place settings of Wedgwood Midwinter Wild Oats that I got for my wedding in 1983. I used that daily until about 2 months ago when I inherited a set of Pfaltzgraff Heritage. It is a nice change to have plain dishes after all these years.

I also have my mother's Noritake Graytone china service for 8 that I love, but use rarely. I have inexpensive Christmas dishes, also, that I use daily for all of December.

I have 8 settings of red Fiestaware at the lake house and 12 plain white Corelle dinner plates when I need extras.

I really, really want a set of this pattern. It's discontinued. Have been stalking Ebay for several years trying to complete a service:

Chris Madden Felice in ivory . . .

A few years ago I started collecting Fiesta. Love it!

This is a picture from last spring, when we had breakfast out on our deck.

I enjoyed seeing all of the pretty pictures of dinnerware on this thread!

OK! Now you've done it. The only holiday I don't have specific dishes for is Easter. Now I will be stalking ebay for the Brambley Hedge. They are perect for Easter!

Re: How large is your dinnerware collection?

whitelinen,

Thank you so much! You have a cup & saucer in Lavender Rose! According to the info on replacements.com it was manufactured between 1982-2008 so it has been discontinued for several years.

The Chris Madden Felice plate is beautiful!

froggy,

I hope you can find some brambly hedge! I am so glad you like it. I agree with you, I think it would be adorable for Easter. I believe there are two plate sizes, salad plate about 8 inches, and the bread & butter plate, about 6 inches. A solid color dinner plate could compliment this pattern.

Royal Doulton Brambly Hedge is so much fun to collect, there are so many different scenes. The 4 seasons and many others. I have Autumn, Summer, Poppy's Babies and The Wedding. I have 4 (8-inch) plates and 4 cups & saucers that match my plates. I also have the teapot and the tea warmer.

You can see some of the different Brambly Hedge scenes at replacements.com.

Thanks so much for your reply. Take care!
