Merry Christmas to all!
Finally able to download pics to Snapfish. Wanted to join in earlier but technology prevented me from sharing. I don't really have a collection, just a few dishes I love.
We use white Corelle for everyday; it's light, microwaveable, love the clean white look with food.
In 1976 when I married I picked this one; Laura Ashley's Petite Fleur by Johnson Bros:
Another favorite is Sango Sweet Shoppe:
More recently I fell in love with Spode's Blue Room Collection, Warwick Vase:
Much fun to hear about and see what everyone has!

I have my good Noritake wedding china - 13 complete sets including glassware, but with one less ice tea goblet as one broke over the years. The design is white with 2 gold rims - one inside and the other on the edge. We use it for holidays and special occasions.
I also have a set for 8 casual dinnerware in dark red that I purchased last year when we remodeled our kitchen. It is Mainstays brand from Walmart. It is good heavy sturdy pieces for daily use.
I have a set of true silver for 8 people; it was given to me by a family friend. It is stored in a chest and used for holidays and special events. We have casual silverware for 16 people that is used daily.

My most recent find/purchase/addition to our dinnerware is Bonjour Sierra Pine. It mixes and matches so well with most of my other new dinnerware. Here's a pic:
The dinner plates look awesome with these salad plates we have on top:
AND, ALL of the Better Homes & Gardens salad plates...
It's amazing what a terrific green hue this set is...goes well with so many other designs/dinnerware...and nearly as versatile as white or ivory! IT is a VERY inexpensive set I purchased through Walmart dot com. The individual 4-pc sets of just the dinner plates are also at a 'rollback' price of $17.97 now too
Love the one with the tree in the center and lacy looking outer edge SL. What a nice collection you have.
Does Wal mart still have the set with the cardinal on the left side. Love that one and would love to get a set. I checked their website but didn't come up with it.
TIA
JPC
I bought my set with the cardinal years ago at Macy's, but saw small smaller plated this year at Home Goods.

We use Fiesta as our daily dinnerware and use it every single day, of course. I don't have *fine* china or anything like that. I do have a few Christmas items, but that's about it. I don't have the space for more, actually. And I really like what we have for daily use and so I like it for special occasions, too! I have to say that although I LOVE Fiesta, the other side of my brain LOVES simple, white dinnerware. It's the same brain that loves the city AND the country!![]()

Like Desert Di, I lost things in the '94 quake. Like many other households, I will not ever have or own pricey breakables again. Even artwork was destroyed.
I do have my everyday Corelle which weathered the quake and I've added items through the years. I do own Lenox China and Arc dinnerware which is like Corelle in that it is chip/break resistant. I enjoy dinnerware but can't see having more as I have more than I will ever use and I have to consider the region - earthquake country.

Fun thread!! I love dishes, but have to control my urges....
I have my original wedding china (two husbands ago!) which is Tiara by Royal Doulton - service for 8 with some serving pieces...inherited by mom's china, which is another Royal Doulton pattern - forget the name...every day is a variety of white dishes that I mix and match, mostly from Home Goods, augmented by some brightly colored Rachel Roy pieces that I got in a grocery store promotion last year (ironstone)...have some pretty crystal by Longchamps (pretty and not expensive at all) plus four Waterford wine goblets that I picked up on e-bay and am afraid to use!!!...have two sets of stainless flatware for every day and some silver plate that I never use (my dad gave it to me in the 60's)...oh - also have a number of pretty cut glass pieces inherited from my mom...
