Gigantic Cream Kitchen, Many Finishes

I found this kitchen, which has many views and I thought you might like to see it.  What do you think about the many finishes in this kitchen?  Do they work together?  Is there one that stands out too much?

I sure wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth if someone wanted to give me that kitchen, but too much.

I prefer cleaner.  The roping on the cabinets, the ceiling design, the corbels and crown moldings, the busy backsplash are excessive for me with the granite.

I don't care for the busy granite or the backsplash, but the kitchen itself I really like a lot!

Could you imagine the rest of this house??  the kitchen is way to big, no intamacy at all. and two island seating areas?  that back splash is dizzying and the granite is to busy. it wouild take a day to mop the floor.

@lolakimono - I find the kitchen overall stunning in appearance, but I have a few quibbles about a few of the finishes.  I do not like the zigzag tile work under the stove hood, as I think it competes too much for attention with the lovely, natural marbled stone countertops.  I don't love the textured brownish ceiling above the pendant lights, and think a grey color would have been better, along with a black cast iron or nickel colored metal finish for the hanging pendant lights, which are otherwise fine. And the most irritating and distracting finish in my opinion is that ornate and odd light blue and creme design on the panels beneath the stand alone table (the one with the black granite top), which just plain clashes with the swirls of the marble countertops, and the zigzagging tile pattern, as well as that brown textured rectangular ceiling insert.

With those minor changes, this would be a dream kitchen for me.
