Finding Treasures when Cleaning

[ Edited ]

At one point I have a small but fun collection of Boyds Bears, I even have Gary Lowenthals signature on a few we went to a signing over 20 years ago and look what I found today, I can not recall if this came with a figurine or was part of a set of pins

edited to add a much better photo

Re: Finding Treasures when Cleaning

I still have a Boyds Xmas ornament that I put on the tree every year.  Boyds was SO popular in the 90s - that stuff was everywhere!

I have a very large collection of the bears and the little girls. I even have a small candynjar with the bears on the wood lid. My grandchildren don't seem to want them though.  I have always loved them and can't seem to think about getting rid of them. I also have the light up christmas tree with the forest animals and a large teddy bear in a cape with some forest creatures.  I wish i could find someone who would want them to cherish.  That is the only way I would part with them.

Oh, I probably have close to a thousand, resin, and stuffed. I have 3 large wall cabinets stuffed with them, I absolutely love them, but I really have no space for anymore. Do you remember when Gary was on QVC, loved every minute of those shows. I'd take yours in a minute, but I imagine I already have them.I had a Lady who would save all the #1's for me, because she knew I was a true collector. Makes me happy to see someone else loved these.
