What a difference! I wouldn’t necessarily select these furnishings, and I’d prefer more color, but the finished results are quite an improvement. I like the architectural changes they made and the neutral paint colors. The new floor is gorgeous!

We must be on the same wavelength. I was looking at before & after pictures online and was going to post one when I saw your bathroom before & after post.

WOW!

Can't believe the space evolution, so impressive. I'd furnish it differently as well but I am thoroughly impressed by the after - Beautiful, and spacious - like a breath of fresh air.

Wow, that certainly is a transformation.  I would change the furniture, but otherwise, it's beautiful!

Taking out the kitchen wall was pretty genius, and so was the customized paneling up the stairway and around the sitting area. Were the pictures computer generated?

Now that's a wowzer! It totally changed the space. I agree with other posters that furniture is not a good fit now.

It's amazing what some basic architectural changes/additions can make in a room. This was a wonderful improvement.

What @CANDLEQUEEN  said.

It is sooooo much better though.

Well, of course the 'after' shot is finished... Otherwise, I can't personally claim to find it has a great deal of appeal other than being finished... I do like the floors, the changes made to the stairs and some of the other architectural changes. I'd also add some of the elements have appeal, but I don't find the 'after' spaces to be particularly attractive.
