I'd rather use an accent color on one major wall. Get bored with it and another color goes up. Simpler than most other options.

I agree but was wondering if that is the wall-size artwork for a hidden life-size television or theater.

There are pieces of "artwork" you can download from a website and make it appear as artwork on your screen to hide your TV or theater screen.  Just wondering if this is the room they use for theatre and they remove "artwork" at night and watch TV or a movie, whatever it is for.

There are much larger ones.  I think this was from 2005.

Oh,  okay. Now I see what you mean. I was thinking about those big TV theater screens that retract into the ceiling, making them disappear. One friend of mine has a theater room and his is like that. The wall behind the screen is just plain with a few pictures on it but it looks nice I think w/o a TV screen there. Woman Happy

I know what you are talking about.  We have a friend who lives in a very big, very nice home in the 7-figure range who has one in their bedroom.

I don't think you can make blanket statements about this kind of thing.  I'd have to evaluate on a per case basis.

I don't have a feature wall, but I do like them.

I think this one is really pretty.

@Desert Lily   i don't care for a wall drawing special attention to it other than one that displays awards or special accomplishments which we have in our basement
