I have been working on my exchange out of winter to spring/summer clothes. It has been slow going as this year I have needed more help due to back issues and this darn broken wrist that really hasn't come back to anywhere near normal. DH has been uncomplainingly helpful even with hanging a closet full of pants as wrist won't cooperate with pinching open that many hangers.
Then to top it off I got in the mood and did a long post on the process; went to edit it and somehow lost the entire post. So now I'll try again. Hope I don't make any errors as I'm not taking a chance on editing it this time!
I have said many times my house is pretty much as I like it and DH and I always purging unneeded items. But my biggest issue is I have WAY TOO MANY CLOTHES. I am definitely on a limited NO BUY clothing diet. Knowing me, it's not possible to buy nothing but I am definitely limiting.
I did buy 8 pairs of shoes and had just recently purged alot of older or uncomfortable shoes and reorganized my shoes. When looking where to put the new pairs, I again purged and found an additional 15 pair to purge in the last couple weeks.
When it comes to clothes I have 3 different sizes. My normal size, some too small and some too large. I do this because with digestive issues my weight can fluctuate quickly and at times I ended up wearing too large clothes got tired of that real quick and bought smaller ones, went back to my normal weight and had these new too small clothes. Gained weight, bought larger size, back to normal and had a supply of too large clothes A vicious circle to be sure.
So in the past couple weeks in addition to the above metioned 15 shoes, I purged 29 pair of pants, 7 Jackets, 2 vests and 6 tops. In addition to set of 4 steak knives, 4 pantry items and expired medicine.
DH just said supper is ready, so that all for now.

Purging is hard. I rarely do it with anything.

I scanned receipts and reports given to me from doctor's offices so I don't have to keep paper copies.
also sorted, organized and thru out some medications and cosmetics I've never used.
Am working on getting rid of my "house shirts"......I have about 6 shirts I just wear around the house and they look awful. Need to wear other items that are in my closet but not in my rotation as "going to town" clothes.
