Re: Dryer sheets or liquid softener

I used dryer sheets for years ... but recently tried Tide with Downey (it was on sale) and now I'm hooked!

Re: Dryer sheets or liquid softener

I prefer dryer sheets for our clothing and sheets but don't use anything in loads like towels. I wash the lint screen on the dryer every week when I finish the laundry to prevent any buildup on it from the dryer sheets.

I don't know if this will help or not, but I found this on line a while back while seeking advice on another issue I had for which I thought vinegar would be beneficial.

Re: Dryer sheets or liquid softener

I have tried it all. I love fresh smelling clothes, which is why I hand clothes outside during our short summer season. I always to back to Downey. I have tried the in wash crystals but sparingly as I am not sure our it is good for our septic system.

Neither. White vinegar if it's needed....it works great in the laundry.
