Would be quite content in any of the smaller cottages.

Ditto.

Small & cozy is the way to go.

To me, "cottage" denotes a small home.

Ohh I love my cottage. My home is very similar to the gray one in the first grouping, but mine is yellow with white trim. There's nothing like living in a cottage on a lake. Its a dream come true. Heart

When I went to Ireland I was enthralled by the beautiful stone cottages in the country. But after seeing the tiny inside of them , I wouldn't want to have to live in there. Usually 1 or 2 bedrooms that barely fit a bed and then one main room that is the sitting room , the kitchen , the eating area - everything all in one. And not very large. At least they don't have to buy much furniture to fill it up.

I would happily live here:  nothing fancy, not a lot of $$$, but I love it.
