@itsmetoo

I use a regular size throw.  When you're scrunching, you can make anything work.

I love this look, too. I like the feeling that things were just sort of tossed and this is what it came to, like we’re not trying too hard but yet it’s beautiful.

@faeriemoon  Love how that looks! Thank you for sharing with us!

Thank you, @faeriemoon.  Is this your house? I thought it was from a magazine!   If it is, it's just beautiful.  I also love that painting in the background (with the orange colors).  It would go well in my house.

I would love to see some decorating tips and suggestions for decorating a round 55” dining table.  They seem to be much harder to decorate than a rectangular table.

@ClothesnutI taught Interior Design (my concentration in my major) and wrote I Design curriculum for the state.  I might offer these suggestions for your 55' round table.

First, for visual proportion, put a dinner plate at each seat location.  If you are serving buffet style, the centerleft, minus a 6 inch outer border is your working area.

Using silk/fresh flowers and greens work border around a center object like a birdhouse, a basket, a grouping of candles, or whatever you like.

I have also put a mirror in the middle, put some sand on it and arranged shells around a basket of shells.

@Lucky Charm  Thank you!  (I think I'm guilty of the 3X screw-up!)

@itsmetoo  Yes; ii's my house.  The painting you refer to has a companion painting on the opposite wall (that's the foyer.)  They're poppies; I love poppies!!

Thank you!
