Re: Decorate Dining table Part II

I like "arty" but I don't know why anyone would want that rumpled mess and stacks of dishes on their dining room table.  That's the function cupboards serve.  What do you do at dinnertime when you want to use the table?

Oh my! It's a pretty look, but my kitties would have a field day with this. The topper would be on the floor, and possibly dragged to another room, and the dishes and hurricanes would be smashed to bits. Smiley Wink

@Kachina624  The dishes on the table are for guests.  The hostess is probably having friends over.  The food may be somewhere else or not brought out.

@beach-mom  God Bless those kitties but you have to use the word "No" plus they usually know when something is going on and friends are coming over.

This look complements the style of the home and makes for a warm and inviting photo op.

But in my real world I would be shouting "ok who was the last one to take a nap on the dining room table? You forgot to fold and put away the blankets!"

I love the table and chairs.

I don't care for the rumpled blanket.  I think that's just for the photo.

White and glass are classics - beautiful.

Love, love, love.  I do the rumpled throw thing on my DR table too.  I have a standing mirror in my dining room as well.

@faeriemoon

Do you use a regular sized throw on your DR table?  I love this look and want to try it but was thinking a regular sized throw would be too big.
