I'm looking for a sleek unit which will have an area for our desk-top computer, as well as drawers for files, etc. and, also, an area for our TV with storage area for CD's,videos, etc..
This will be located in our den which is not a very large area...Right now, we have a separate desk area and our TV is on a stand with storage area...I think it will look much nicer to have an all-in-one unit.
Any suggestions for those who may have such a unit and where I can find a nice one, reasonably priced, of course?
Thanks so much!

You might want to go to your local IKEA and check out their desk / TV / cabinets items. You can always check out their website http://www.ikea.com/us/en/. HTH

Thanks, TootyJane...I have started googling and checking to find the perfect unit that will work in our area....I am also going to check with Pottery Barn, as I know that units can be made to work together.

You also might try checking your local Craigslist for ads. People move and sell stuff like this all the time.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't really care to go through Craigslist...I prefer getting a new desk and media area that isn't used...I'm being fussy while I can still afford to be!...LOL

Have you considered hooking up the tv as the computer monitor so it doubles as one unit? Most tvs have a vga connection you can use, so you just change the source to vga to use the computer and whatever for the tv. The only problem would be that you can't do both at once.

I don't really want to be bothered doing this...I prefer keeping the compuer monitor and tv separate from each other...A lot of times, I like to watch TV while posting.
Appreciate your suggestion!
