Though I tend to prefer basic choices, were a pricey new range a priority, I could see building a kitchen around this orange range...

It seems retro....what was "on trend" years ago.....What I would consider is choosing a color that would work with multiple designs and styles just in case in the future you want to change the look of your kitchen and considering what you spent on that colored appliance you definitely would have to keep that and couldnt afford to replace it again with something new...

That's what I like about some of the appliances.  They give you color but have modern lines.  You just have to choose a color you will love for years to come.

I am glad to see kitchen appliances in other colors than black, stark white, grey or stainless.  I am sick and tired of those choices.

I was hoping that an "almond" color would become available because my kitchen is very dark with black appliances.  I don't like stainless, and grey and stark white would not go with the countertops.

I remember Harvest Gold, Copper Brown, and Avocado Green appliances.  They seem "dated" today, but in a few years I think that grey, stainless, stark white, and black will seem  "dated" too!

Thank you @Lilysmom1 for the suggestion but all the flames are working properly and not uneven.

About 6 mos. after we moved in, the electric oven needed to be calibrated.  I had him check the gas top as well...all connections and working etc.

It's just that's where it is cooking hot...right around the flame ring.  You can see the contents bubbling away in a perfect circle no matter which size burner I use.

For me, gas does not give the same even heat distribution that I got w/ my glass top electric.

Thanks though.....
