I don't like the mirror or the light.  Do like the walls.

Re: Coastal Powder Room

[ Edited ]

It looks very real, an every day powder room. Simple not over done. I like it

This is not coastal.  This is undecisive.  Love the blue and the driftwood cabinet. That's about it.  I would frame a mirror with similar driftwood.  The light fixture does go with the mirror but not the intent.  Then get rid of the basket with reading material.  It's a powder room, not a bathroom.  The pictures on the wall need to be replaced with something more explicit to costal if that is what the theme is and not necessarily framed pictures.  Remove the floor clutter.  Add a TP dispenser.  Move the towel rack to the wall next to the sink.

This barely qualifies as coastal. Hardly anything that looks beachy. Not a fan.

@lolakimono

Thank you for posting another coastal pic.

As much as I love most things coastal/ cottage looking, I'll pass on this one.  Not a fan of that mirror, the blue color they used, nor the vanity.

I appreciate all that you post, something for everyone.

Am I the only one who gets skeeved out when ‘reading material’

is pictured in an offical decorated bathroom?

Instead of a beautifully designed bathroom, it suddenly

becomes a ‘cr,apper’. Hoogey.

While it is a nice looking powder room (with the exception being a too large mirror) it doesn't ring "coastal" to me at all. It is just a nice looking powder room.

I like it, but it is nothing special...just a plain powder room that can be found in thousands of homes.

I would immediately remove those bottles from the floor beside the toilet.  Not a good idea if you have young boys in the house. They are not all that decorative and serve no purpose,

@Carmie

I was thinking the same thing about the bottle on the floor. 😱🥴
