I live in a beach town but just can't get into the coastal decor inside the house. I have it on the lanai but inside - no. I guess enough is enough & everywhere you go down here has coastal decor. Many of my neighbors , since this is just a vacation home to them, have their house decorated with wicker furniture and coastal stuff they pick up at Goodwill. I pretty much have mostly the same decor I had in my house in Pa. All the same paintings on the walls etc.Mostly all the same furniture.
Out on the lanai is a different story - a sea life decor on one wall with a mermaid and a seahorse plus numerous fish. A lighthouse on the other side and a big blue crab over the door. A piece of driftwood we picked up years ago on the floor under a glass table has some little ceramic crabs on it. However , I got that piece of driftwood out of lake Erie, not from the ocean. I caught a fishing line on it & had to drag it into the boat to get untangled.I also have a large seashell full of sea glass I have picked up both at Erie and here at the beach over many years.

I love the bedding in the second room.
