Both.  The stairs and shelves are fabulous.  The messy contents are not.  It looks like someone's house day-to-day when they are NOT expecting company (or photographers  . . . ).

Way too much clutter.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Yes to the shelves for books only, not the other stuff.

NO to the stuff on the carpet in front of the shelves, the hanging chair, whatever is propped up in front of the door and the printed chair.

I like the idea OF it, but they added way too much clutter for me.

I'm going to go beyond cluttered and call it sloppy.
