Yes..I use it on my dog..its gentle enough for birds etc...he has sensitive skin and this never bothers him! Heart

Over the past year or so I've been using Zout Foam for laundry stains.  It works so much better than Spray N Wash or Shout ever did.  They were always pretty much useless.

Am I understanding you all correctly, that regular blue Dawn dish detergent is more effective than the above mentioned products, at pre-treating and removing cooking oil stains from clothing?  And I've had it at my disposal all these years?  On my, this is great news if it's truly more effective than the other products.  It never crossed my mind to try Dawn on laundry.

Thank you all.

@goldensrbest Thanks to all of you (and your wonderful reports about Dawn) I purchased a bottle just to try to get stains out of my shirts.

I normally like Ivory liquid when I was pots and pans so I'll see how it works.

Thanks to you and everyone for the heads up.....I appreciate it.

Zout has really saved some of my clothes. I spray the stains and let it sit for a few days. I keep a bottle next to my hamper. A few times I didn't see the stain until after I dried the clothes, sprayed zout let it sit til next time and it came out. I was suprised. Zout is a little more money but to save a blouse or slacks well worth it..
