Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

I hope everyone had a blast shopping yesterday! I didn't watch or buy a thing, because I'm on the beach in Mexico! I can't wait to hear how everyone likes their new stuff when it all arrives.

I hope YOU are having a blast, Peter.

I posted about these somewhere on one of the threads, but wanted to be sure you see the even lower CIJ price.  I think I recall that you have and maybe even ordered more of these.  If I have the wrong person, sorry!

Hi Peter, I wondered where you were yesterday as you usually pop in and out of the discussions on Valerie days.  Hope you're  having a great time and getting some well deserved time away from work.

Shopr, I did order those Luminara Hurricanes in silver, and it looks like they dropped in price by another $5. That's an excellent price for those. I'm sad that I didn't get a chance to order Valerie's set of five new sparkle spheres in silver. Those are right up my alley. Hopefully they'll show up As Is or she'll get more for future shows.

Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

Hey Peter- hope you are enjoying your vacation! I bet the beach is so beautiful and relaxing.

Is the item number H286052, that you are talking about? I looked at this item a while back, (at least I think I did-it was a set, not a single candle). So this price is good now? Is this the set that was discussed where the purchasers of these could not tell the difference between the silver and the gold when they are lit? Thanks, in advance. Have fun, Peter!

Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

Rose, that is the correct item number. The silver do look golden when lit, but I think a real candle inside a silver, Mercury glass hurricane would produce a golden look too, so I think they look very real. That price is definitely fantastic for a set of 2 Luminara candles. The red would look beautiful in a holiday display surrounded by greens or holly.

Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

I got the church TSV yesterday. I think it's very beautiful but will be even nicer when I get a chance to wash the glass. I let my mom open it since I was either giving it to her or letting her give it to my aunt. I think she liked it though but agreed my aunt would too. Unfortunately I don't have the one from last year to compare it too. I can see where a slightly larger version would be nicer for food since I don't think you could fit much in this one. Oh the timer function worked - we tried it last night.

I also got my set of 3 mini gingerbread houses but with so much going on yesterday, I haven't had a chance to test. I will post back when I do.

I'm off to finish my 4th of July American flag cake, buzzed cherry bombs, and buffalo chicken dip. I got a little distracted yesterday with the holiday movies on Hallmark Smiley Happy Happy 4th of July!

Happy July 4th to you, sawst!  I'm glad you're happy with your cloche.  I haven't received mine yet.  I got the church and carolers.
