Yep, we have ceiling fans in every room. Even have one on my outside wrap-around porch.

We have one in every room and I would not be without them.  If you set the fan clockwise for cooling in the summer it stirs the air around with a cooling effect.  In the winter set it to rotate counter-clockwise and it will blow the heat that rises to the ceiling down to warm the room.

I definitely recommend getting ceiling fans!

We moved here two years ago and installed them in every room of our house (not bathrooms though!).  We have some "long" rooms that have 2 fans each.  They cool off the rooms on days when it's kind of warm, but not warm enough for the AC, they help with heat in the kitchen from the oven, and they are great in the bedrooms at night.  Love them!!

Fans in the dining room, family room, office, and every bedroom, even though we keep the air conditioner between 72-74  Even the pup insists on the fan blowing in the bedroom,  on his back daily with all four feet in the air, breeze blowing his belly hair....aaahhhh, this is the life!

I have one in every bedroom and one downstairs.  

I couldn't sleep without it - summer and winter.

I have a solar attic fan (purchased at Costco) which was installed by the fan company.  It takes the place of the electrical attic fans.  It works exactly the same as a regular attic fan but it runs on solar power.  It keeps the entire house so much cooler since hot air doesn't get trapped in the attic.  In the winter, it circulates air in the attic so it keeps moisture accumulations out.  

In addition, I have ceiling fans in the kitchen and bedrooms. I believe they're Hunter fans.

I also have them in every room....and they make a difference, especially on hot days.

I remember on some of the home decorating shows....the Designers HATED them and always took them down.......LOL
