Also, my husband and I are discussing the number of blades needed on the fan.  Do more blades move more air?  There is no air conditioning in that room.

After our house fire and rebuild (2019-2020), we replaced all our ceiling fans (we have four) with ones from Minka.

 

Effective, attractive and quiet.  Ours are all 5-blade.
