Re: CASUAL EATING AREAS AND MORE

Number 3 is my favorite.  The fabrics make it and give it personlity.

Re: CASUAL EATING AREAS AND MORE

@Oznell  Love numbers 6, 8, and 9.

#6 is so elegant. I would have to add at least one pop of red something.

It's the door that makes the room for me in #8. Great place to have friends over and chat and sip tea. It's like an oasis room. Love it!

Room #9 gives me my drama with the red chairs and the painting on the wall is gorgeous, but the white walls are too plain. I would have painted them a Robin egg color. Something similar to the painting.

Thanks for a great post.

Some beautiful areas and rooms!  I love breakfast nooks - they are so cozy!

Re: CASUAL EATING AREAS AND MORE

I like some things about all of them and would change a few things in some of them.

1-like as is

2-the fabric on the shades/valences is over the top for me...too much print

3-Adorable but seating looks really tight

4-I like everything I see in this cute and functional area

5-Don't care for the cone shaped chandelier

6-Very pretty...a bit too formal for me but beautiful

7-Dining chairs look really uncomfortable but like everything else

8-Lovely

9-Not a fan of Asian art. The rug doesn't go with anything else in the area. I would have to redecorate this one. My least favorite space.

10-Very pretty space

11-The chairs would have to have cushions

I like most of them.  I think my favorites are #1, 3, 10, 7 except for the chairs.

I like them all except for 5 and 9.  My favorite is 10, the colors used are beautiful and the whole area is super cozy.

Every time I thought one was my favorite I then scrolled down to the next and thought "oh no, that one is my favorite."   All so lovely.

@Oznell I love these. I'm partial to the cozy booths and "nooks," but they all appeal to me in some way. They look so...inviting.

When large wall calendars were a thing, I'd always get the one featuring porches for my office. I think I was partial to those because I'd imagine myself sitting on each of those porches lol.

Re: CASUAL EATING AREAS AND MORE

Glad you highlighted the Asian art and frame in #9, @on the bay  and @Queen of shop--  agree, it adds both serenity and a cosmopolitan flair to the area.

Whether the panels are silk screens, or exquisitely wrought hand-painted wall paper panels, that have been framed, they have an impact.

I love that they so often have a motif of gracefully twining vines, and little birds flitting about--  sweet reminders of nature.

@DREAMON ,  thanks for giving your take on every picture-- cool!

@LavernLuvsShoes ,  @Moonlady ,  @AngelPuppy1 ,  I too love a banquette, booth or nook!   Reminds me nostalgically of classic Hopper paintings of diners, probably.
