Cameron Ruppert designs a lot of very different spaces. I really like her treatment of breakfast nooks, casual dining areas and "kitchen-adjacent" spaces, all of which are below--
1)
2). Cheerful.
Of course this one of hers below I think I showed before, as part of a vintage kitchen-- it's probably one of my favorites. Great for breakfast for two!
3)
Like the combination of different painted and natural woods she does here--
4)
Even though this is modern, the sleek but textured chairs and chest keep it interesting. Again, Cameron Ruppert mixes different colors of woods to good effect too.
5)
6)
What do you think of her frequent use of cafe curtains in a lot of these examples? I love them. Cozy, they give privacy, but light can stream from above.
7)
I think this sunroom area she did was just off a kitchen but not sure. Love it anyway!
8)
Love the way she can switch up moods, but still stay classic. This casual spot reminds me of a European bistro, with its comfy chairs, lantern, banquette and sleek table, and esp. with that wrought iron transom (?) on the right.
9)
More delightful cafe curtains--
10)
And here's the adoining dining room in the same old house-- the curtains are the same. Simple and old-fashioned, with its Dutch door and a piano at the ready. I'd just throw a few pillows on the Windsor chairs for extra-long dinners....

They don't look comfortable to sit in. Stiff looking.

Thanks for posting these @Oznell. I really enjoy looking at all the lovely spaces. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite, but I do really love #8!
Edited to add: Ooops, got my numbers mixed up. Meant to say I really love #9!!

Love 11 but would need to add chair pads for comfort. . . and a doggie bed for the visitor at the Dutch door! I love cafe curtains, they open up a world of opportunity with curtains.

Just lovely @Oznell thank you!
My favorite is #1 - love the chairs and the windows, such plentiful, bright light.
#2 is pretty but too much fabric (would have been perfect if the shades had been a solid color).
Growing up we had a small breakfast nook between the kitchen and dining room. Highbacked bench seats. Even as small children, we'd need to move the table to the side to try and sueeze in!
#3 is nice but I would have given it a bit more room.
If I had to have curtains in a kitchen or dining room, I would prefer a valance. Cafe curtains obliterate the view IMHO but to each their own.
And yes, that dog is just a sweetheart!!
Love the sunroom in #8 ![]()

I like some of these more than others and some not at all. Regardless, I'm not fond of the banquette seating.
I think maybe you posted #3 quite awhile ago. I remember one that was very similar to this anyway.....small, tight area with banquette seating and I just remember thinking I would knock myself out on that shelving unit or knock everything down that was on one of the shelves.

I like them all and would be comfortable living in either at different times of my life, smaller and larger family, empty nesters, etc. They are all lovely. However, the most attractive one for my time and age is #1. It is "just me." It looks like breakfast, a game of checkers or dominoes, a hand of cards and a cuppa java or tea.
#6 is the color of almost taupe of all the woodwork in my home, including moldings and shutters, etc. I didn't want stark white and I didn't want ivory.

All of these are pretty, and oh, how I love a Banquette!!! ♥

They are pretty, but I'm not a fan of the banquette setting either. If the person in the middle has to get up for some reason, others will have to get up to let them out. Too much trouble.

I like a lot of elements in each and don't like some in each.
What I love the most is that painting or print? in #9 and the frame too.
So many of the windows and views and cabinets are very nice too.
We were able to buy 2 church pews for $50 each from a church that was getting all new ones. They were glad to get rid of them and we were glad to have tthem. My daughter re-covered and painted them and we used it in the dining room. It would tilt forward if you moved but worse-yes we had to crawl in and out. After many months of sitting on it, I claimed a chair! It just wasn't very practical.
If the kids sat on it they crawled under the table if they had to get out. So glad to have all chairs again!
