Re: BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN LIVING ROOM

@stevieb   @Oznell   Are there any photos of the rear exterior of this house? The bedroom has an arched window. I guess over the years many changes were made.

@PickyPicky3 Wish I could offer them up, but sorry, I've not seen any.

@PickyPicky3  I take it back. I don't think these are what you're looking for but here are a few more pictures I forgot about. Another shot of the screen porch, back yard and two more bedrooms.

Re: BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN LIVING ROOM

Thanks @stevieb . It looks like two of the bedrooms are on the first floor.

I can't get into interior design unless I feel settled with the structure first.

I'm also wondering about the ring of Adirondack chairs that are placed too far apart for conversation. Maybe there was a firepit there at one time. And the two chairs in the driveway. Is that a southern mountain tradition?

Here's some of the design staff: Are they cousins?

Re: BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN LIVING ROOM

Love the blue fireplace inside, and the look of the chimney outside. The bedroom with twin beds has far too much symmetry. Two of everything is not to my liking. The living room chairs seem like Goodwill finds.

Re: BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN LIVING ROOM

I think the style is very natural, do able, and eclectic. It's not matchy match, it has variety, and it's practical.

Young people today fall for a set look and in reality that's not livable. In a museum, yes, in real life no.

I'm tired of Joanna Gaines and the constant repetition.
Makes me feel like the step ford homes.
Rinse Repeat.
If you live in a farm house great, but when you don't to me it's impractical.
