@Oznell  I love all of it! When can I move in. lol

The dining room is my fave. So homey and appealing to me. I like all the color too that has been used in the home. I love color.

Oh, I'm sorry about the re-post, @stevieb --   I didn't realize!    Thanks for adding the image of the pretty entry--  I love that sinuous-fronted old chest, punctuated by the cheery lamps.  Truly a darling house.

I like the dining room very much, although I think it could use a rug under the table and chairs.  The other rooms pictured aren't my cup of tea.

Re: BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN LIVING ROOM

What a charming structure!  I love the old feel of the outside, and the dormer windows, but I would like a front door with more presence.

In the GR, the fireplace surround is a unique color, love it!

I love plaid to, but I appreciate something with less contrast, a quiet stripe, or dots.  The wall with the French doors is beautiful!  I love glass!

I am totally in love with the dinning room!  The beams, and bow back Windsor's strong shape, the drape print echoing the color of the beams and wood, so rich!

I am curious about the look of the primary bedroom.

Thank you for the lovely stroll!Smiley Happy

Re: BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN LIVING ROOM

Your wish is my command, @ECBG !   While they didn't say this was the main bedroom, I'm guessing it was, compared to the other ones they showed:

I basically like it, but didn't like the flowers on the wall, and the sort of filigree headboard-- too lacy for my taste.   For some reason, when traditional rooms tip too far toward "froo-froo",  I lose interest.  Need something rugged or primitive or organic, to cut the sweetness--  the best way I can explain it!

@Oznell

Thank you so much!

Oh! My!!! I find this room extremely disappointing when all of the other rooms look so tasteful!  This room reminds me of something that would have come from a Pier I, or be in the bedroom put together by a recent college graduate; it totally lacks unity with the rest of the house.

I love the space, I'd keep the bed linens, the entire rest would go, especially those little flowers!

The bedroom with the twin beds didn't appeal to me either.

May I please ask, do you favor one side of the color wheel?  Do you dislike any colors?

Is your complexion cool or warm?

Re: BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN LIVING ROOM

@ECBG ,  for most of my life,  I've heavily favored ( in decorating, and clothing too) --  cool colors.  Greens, blues mostly.  But do also like taupey browns, shell pinks, lilacs, creams.

Still do those in clothing, and mostly in my rooms.  But in later years, I've come to greatly appreciate some warm colors in decorating-- little hits of them.  I can appreciate mustard, ha.

My coloring is very cool.  Skin has blue undertones, very pale.  Hair, no gold, lightest brown-- 'dishwater'-- you can have without being blonde.  Eyes, blue-gray, but much more gray.  The only warm thing is hazel specks, and when I wear sage or olive, my eyes often look like they've turned vaguely olive...

We're almost "twins" of a sort.  My eyes are such a deep forest green they are often mistaken for brown and they have a deep gray rim.

My dislike of certain colors goes back to the beginning of grade school.  If one of those hues is in a weave, my eye will search it out every time I look at that item.
