I don't really enjoy doing laundry but that's because I have a left shoulder and arm I can barely use (previous injury, have had several surgeries and PT but it'll never get better). That said, whenever I feel like grumbling about it, I remind myself that I'm fortunate to be able to have my own washer and dryer in my own home and don't have to schlep to the laundromat.

When I had full use of my arms, I actually enjoyed doing my own washing and drying; it's very satisfying to pull your own clean, warm clothes out of the dryer.

Folding and putting away, even when I could use both arms, not so much {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

ETA: My son and his wife just bought a house and I will confess to having a case of laundry room envy. Theirs is great; just large enough with a big, deep sink and a shelf for folding. Mine is small and dark with barely enough room to turn around.
