Yes, I do.  My new home is an open floor plan and I love it.  I have a deep blue chesterfield sofa, that I designed to fit my home.  I have an ever so light blue accent wall.  Fits perfectly.  It's not something folks notice.  And I appreciate that.  It just flows into the background,   It's so very subtle and works perfectly.

I don't mind an accent wall and like all of these.  For liking the total room, I prefer the last two.

Beautiful, I like them all, especially the 1st one! I do not have any accent walls in my home right now, I used to in my living room, then we tired of it and painted it all one color and used accent pieces to add color and dimension!

@Mary Bailey  the painter must not look at decorating magazines. I do not think they ever went away. Of course he would be paid more for painting over it.

I don't have any accent walls, but in the right application I do like them.  Of the one's pictured, I don't care for the red wall as I'm just not a fan of red walls.

In our former home we had a very large living room (24' x 19') and open foyer.  We had accent walls painted in a deep red and gold colors.  The gold color actually toned down the red.  It was beautiful with cherry furniture.

I’ve never had them but I do like them. I especially love the last photo.  It’s a very muted red.

Even though I'm not crazy about dark accent walls, I sure do like the rooms in the photos!

@wilma   When I was growing up, this was the fad, either one wall was painted a different color, or one wall was wallpapered.  My Mother did both, herself, throughout the house, only wallpaper in a bedroom and in the kitchen nook where the table and chairs were.

We've had an accent wall (in Cranberry Wall) in the living room for years. Lends itself perfectly to Christmas decorating. What really surprised us was the number of compliments that we've gotten on that wall color. While I'd never do a whole room in red, that wall is just perfect for us, especially during the holidays.
