Yankee Candles...

[ Edited ]

It was time to place an order for Fall candles. I hadn't placed an order for a few years so our supply for Fall scents is almost completely used up.

I ordered 5 with a great discount total of $67.50 with FREE S&H! The current sale for the large jars - 2 for $40. I ordered 5 and got a code for 20% off the total order.

*Side Note: Even though I ordered an odd # of 5, I still got all of them at the sale price of $20 each. Just an FYI for those that want to order...say 3 and not 4 (as an example). I think as long as you order 2 or more, you'll get them for $20 each...

Ordered one of each:

Autumn Leaves

Cinnamon Stick

Pumpkin Spice

New England Maple

Whipped Pumpkin Spice

The last two are new scents for us...can't wait to burn them! Smiley Very Happy

I like Yankee Candles and those fall scents sound wonderful.  I usually buy mine at Marshall's.

I LOVE Autumn Leaves!  It's the first of the Fall scents I burn in September when there's still a little bit of green left on the trees but the air is cooler and the leaves are starting to turn. Hrebinger of days to come!

I love Yankee Candles.  I keep 20 large jars around at one time.  90% Machintosh my favorite scent & 10% Jasmine scent.

I get mine from BBB w/their coupon the total cost is $14 & BJ's for only $12 for the large jars. Machintosh scent goes pretty fast for that price.

I wish they would bring back Autumn Lodge, my all time favorite fall scent.

I used to buy only Yankee but now I buy nothing but Goose Creek smell better/stronger and burn cleaner.  I always buy them on sale at about $12 or less and shipping is free with a $50 order.  They are also packed better ( only had 3 broken out of about 80 candles).

Are any made in the US?  I quit candles a long time ago when so many started coming from other places.

@Mz iMac  We have about the same at any given time. Only a few are Spring/Summer floral scents like lavender. The balance are holiday scents like bayberry, sugar plum, balsam, etc. I have 2 shelves full in our kitchen bookcase...12 fit on each shelf.

You are fortunate to get the scents you want at BB&B and/or BJ's for a great bargain price. For me, whenever I have gone to the local BB&B stores here in Lincoln, they had lots YC candles, but the scent options were very limited. Same goes for their online site.

I never heard of/shopped at BJ's.

We used to have a Yankee Candle store here, but it closed several years ago...sigh. I so much enjoyed going and smelling all the new scents. I remember we would get the catalogs with the scratch & sniff for most of the new scents. I would get frustrated that some of the new scents didn't have a scratch & sniff, so those especially I would go to the YC store and sniff 1st...LOL  Smiley Very Happy

It was also fun to see all their new accessories for Fall/Halloween and for the holiday season...memories...good times.

Here's a pic from 2014 of one of my fave YC accessories for Fall...
