I may watch some of the QVC2 programming tonight. I just get tired of looking forward to Christmas Decor shows, only to find that QVC chooses to air the same few items repeatedly. It's gets very old in my opinion, no matter how enjoyable the host might be.

@hopi, I may not be understanding what you're saying, but I just checked some of Valerie's new items, and they are still showing Sale Prices, which I think are the same as they were for her shows yesterday, unless something had a one day only kind of price attached then.

In my opinion that home is way too big for 2 people to occupy. I believe it is just Dan and his wife living there. I can't imagine the costs to heat and cool his home. Not to mention cleaning it. It screams "excess" in my opinion.
How completely out of line for you to even voice that opinion.
People live how they wish. You can say it isn't for you, but you don't get to decide how other's live.
They are both very successful and I'm sure have all the money and ability to take care of it.
It is a working farm, and at least part of the house is like close to 200 years old. Quite a treasure to be able to be a care taker of something so historical for even a short time.
Do you think the same thing about other people? Is it ok for celebrities to have big homes? How about people who are poor but win a big lottery? Do only certain people deserve to live their dream? If you work hard all your life and you succeed there is something wrong with that?

Exactly my own reaction to that comment.

How can Alberti say, just did on Q2, that he helped Valerie design the deer with the ribbon, when I bought the exact same deer at amazon last year, in a different color than Valerie offered.

The Santa that Alberti is showing has a defect on the bottom of the robe in the back, which he couldn't see. The roping around the bottom was not glued in the proper place, it was raised.

Gift bags are not what I consider decor. This is called Holiday Decorating with Alberti. Same few items, show after show.

It's so early in the season to have so much repeating of the holiday products, but boy are they doing it.
Alberti has such talent and they saddle him with such mundane things in these shows.
QVC really isn't trying with him and with elegant holiday decor. I don't know how much more we have to say or ask.
Is it the buyers? Is it someone above them? I don't know, but it is obvious they just don't get it, where he is concerned, and what kinds of holiday shows he should be doing.
