Turkey left the roost early this year.100_3338.jpg

Candle rings from Walmart, under $4.  Works well with these tall brass candlesticks in a corner.  Will not fit a 3" candle without cutting the inside ring and turning the cut edge to the back.  These are CI  slender candles under 2 1/2", could probably fit a 2 3/4" candle.  I like the rings, nice and full and for that price but needs a larger center ring.

Thanks for posting. You did a great job, it looks so nice. I love the three pumpkins, where did you get them?

@panda1234  Thank you.  The three pumpkins and the rooster are from Valerie a couple years or so ago.  They are ceramic so no batteries to buy.  Smiley Happy  The  turkey also came from Valerie. I have a floral piece with the turkey but it didn't work in a picture.

Looks good Lucy.  I like those pumpkins too.  I had the CI orange slim candles, but they all faded badly.  Had to move them along.  I bought new orange candles online after the season last year.  They are a dark rich orange.  I unpacked them today, but haven't put batteries in yet.  How much more decorating are you going to do?

@GCR18  The candles are not a true orange but to me, more coral.  I haven't used mine much so they are still like new. You probably remember when Valerie brought the pumpkins and the rooster.  I like that they are ceramic and not MG, and no batteries. I like the MG but have so many of them.

I still have quite a bit more decorating to do.  I probably won't post any more pictures just wait for you to post your pics.  LOL.

@lucymo  Beautiful!  I especially love the pumpkins and rooster in the first picture.  I don't remember seeing the rooster, was it quite a few years ago.  I wish I had bought the pumpkins. Smiley Happy   If they were sold before 20013, I wouldn't have had room in my kitchen for the pumpkins, but I love them. Smiley Happy

Ya, you're right they were coral.  Mine faded a lot.  I didn't really watch Valerie until the last couple years.  I didn't do holiday decor other than something for Christmas.  I put my mantel together before I went away, but I don't like it.  LOL.  I bought a Valerie garland that goes with my wreath.  I don't use garlands because my mantel isn't very wide.  Well the garland is taking up most of the width and everything is hanging on the end.  It's too busy and squished.  I need to take everything off the mantel, put the garland somewhere else and start again.  Not sure if I'll get to do it until the weekend.

@mousiegirl  I can't remember how long I've had the pumpkins.  I'm sure it's been four or five years ago.  The rooster came after but he goes well with the pumpkins.  QVC cuts off our order history and I don't keep a journal on purchases.

I see people post pictures of items and I wonder why I didn't see or get them but guess we do miss seeing a few things.  lol

@lucymo  I didn't begin decrating my kitchen until Fall of 2014, as that is when it was completed, made a mistake when I posted 2013,  and was only watching Christmas shows for years.  When I knew I would have a kitchen to decorate which was 2014, I began buying lots of Fall decor that year.

The rooster is the perfect coloration for Fall.  I have one that I think looks great for fall, but it is year round, but your's looks as if it were made for Fall.

I have the set of mini pumpkins and gourds that match your pumpkins, knew they looked familiar, lol.  What are the measurements of the pumpkins?

Re: More Fall Decor Pictures.

You have been busy, and I am getting inspired!!!  I remember those beautiful ceramic pumpkins, and I remember thinking "should I or shouldn't I' - but that was before I ordered with the iPad.  This iPad ordering gets me in trouble to quickly - lol 😂

Thank you for sharing!!!
