@mousiegirlHere is a picture of the Home Interiors Rooster.  He's about 17-18" tall.  He stays out all year somewhere.

@lucymo  Wow, a big fellow, and beautiful.  You are safe, lol, blue doesn't fit in around here.  I love his posture and beak open, as it should be since roosters use their voices 24/7, at least in this area.

Thank you for posting the picture. Smiley Happy

@mousiegirlI don't use blue either but since he has other colors I don't mind.  I've had him for years.

@lucymo  I do like the teal color, I just don't care for blue other than sky, water, and eyes, I am weird, lol.

@mousiegirl  I love the turquoise color too, aqua and teal.  This isn't as bright as it appears in the picture but still blue.  I just don't like blue even in fashion other than navy or royal blue.  I am weird too so we were sisters in another life.  lol

@lucymo  Turquoise is my birthstone. Smiley Happy  Do you remember when aqua was the color rage way back when?  My Mother actually painted her klitchen this color with a chocolate brown wallpaper in the dining area with kitchen motif on it.  I don't remember I I picked the color or the wallpaper, but I picked somethinhg, a little designer from the get-go, lol.

@mousiegirl  I sure do remember when turquoise was so popular.  We were living in SC and we bought the plastic lace doilies we cut out the round center, tucked in the foil pot pie pans then crocheted the circle back on with Turquiose crochet thread. Crocheted a second lace doily on the back and attached a piece of plastic cherries or grapes and they were wall hangings.  Usually in a two's or three's. Aren't you glad you mentioned turquoise?  lol

@Spurt  Hi Spurt, and thanks.  Of course it's the 'great minds' thing with us. lol

The turkey doesn't show color well due to glitter and the flash.  But it was too dark without the flash.  Valerie had this two or three years ago, right?  I like it in person, very nice coloring.

@GCR18  Maybe you take them out each season and they have respect for you.  Smiley Happy  I still have some that I haven't brought out yet so I know they're screaming at me.  lol

Re: More Fall Decor Pictures.

@lucymo I know I have some Thomas Pacconi ornaments, but holly moly I have no idea where I stored them.  There is something odd that happens when I have ornaments I chose, and then there are the ones I inherited, gifts from grandchildren, church people, co-workers from way back when, adult children, and the list goes on and on.

Ornaments and decor scream for more time and space to attempt to enjoy them all.  I don't want more space to display them because that's more space that must be cleaned, and I'm a clean-aholic who DH would find be on the floor each day from cleaning.

Scary, you think? 😂 lol

@GCR18  Hey, that looks great.  I don't think it looks crowded, just fall beauty.  Girl, you did good.

@PattyShell  Not scary at all.  I completely understand as our house is a mess with all the items removed to make way for the fall things.  Today was supposed to be pack up, clean up day but that didn't happen.  I'm hoping to get that done tomorrow though as it's annoying me really bad.

Most of us have too much decor for each season so storage is a real problem.  I forget a lot of things that I have because I packed them and didn't use anymore.  I have slowed down with the buying this year though and hope that continues.

Re: More Fall Decor Pictures.

Lucy, when I was putting it up, I thought there's no room for the Valerie lit pinecones.  The only lit thing on the mantle is the three CI pumpkins.  The gray ones on the end are from pier 1 and are my favorite when lit.  I need to put batteries in them.  The rest of the pumpkins are unlit.  I am going to swap out the garland.  I have a very thin one from pier 1 with just leaves and a thin one from big lots.  I have pumpkins on the other mantle along with the owls.
