Re: Does your tree sit in same place every year?

Yes, our tree goes in the front parlor in front of the bay window every year. We move out furniture and rearrange it just to accommodate the tree. Go out and cut a tree every year. No artificial tree for this family.

Just about a different location each year for me.

Yes.  I had hoped to donate a loveseat and rearrange furniture this year. That would have given me more tree options.  But I adopted a new cat this year. She is older and had a very difficult early life. Wouldn't you know it that the top of that loveseat is her favorite place to sleep and keep an eye on the world outside my home. Of course, I could not donate the loveseat. So my tree is in its same old place.

I used to put up a 7.5 foot tree in the corner of the living room, but I have an old house with an old fusebox and kept blowing fuses because of all the lights on the tree. So, I switched to a 5 foot tree and have it next to a bookshelf in the living room. It's great, no blown fuses and I can see the tree better because it's more central.

Our main tree is in the family room where we sit and will see it everyday.  It goes in the corner and that is pretty much the only place it can go.  It used to go in the opposite corner but we moved the tv there.

No, in the past, our tree was always in a different place in the living room.  Our big tree has remained in the basement for about 5 years now; 2 years we used our tabletop tree and 3 years we did Christmas with no tree.   This year is still up in the air.
