I bought this flannel bedding set from WS last Christmas but I have that rustic lodge look going. I have an all white comforter that I top this set with so it doesn't scream Paul Bunyan Sleeps here. 😉

LOVE IT!

@pupwhipped, the plaid comforter I use from PB reverses to the side that I use for the rest of winter without the Christmas pillows.  Here's a picture of the other print from the PB site.

@Marsha2003, oh wow, that's the best of both worlds!!! Loved all your pillows in the first pic you posted. And hey, you can never have too many pillows on a bed. Husbands may think so, but they most definitely are incorrect. HA!

I like the picture in the opening post.  No, I don't use holiday bedding.

@Regal Bee

I do put out Christmas bedding.....I bought a really nice hand sewn Christmas quilt and shams really cheap at Tuesday Morning one year.....

Thankfully the color of the design went well with my bedroom curtains because if I had to do both bedding and also buy curtains that would have been a deal killer for me.....too expensive for a short season, I paid a lot for the curtains I have now....

Re: Christmas/Holiday Bedding?

I change out my bedding at the holidays and have a beautiful red/green quilt that I place on the bed.  I found some matching shams and pillows and it looks really cute!

If you want to get your Christmas pillow fix on, check out Susan's post from the blog "Between Naps on the Porch." Do any of you follow her? She truly is amazing...in so many ways. This post was from two years ago so many of the pillows she references are no longer available...unless you try eBay. I've also always liked her Ralph Lauren tartan  bedding that she uses for the winter season. Anyway, thought some of you might like to see all the pillows, and the fun way she decorates.

I love that blog. She does the very best tablescapes I've ever seen for every season and holiday.

@Mominohio  Susan is the one who inspired me to start doing tablescapes back in 2009, when I had my blog. I participated in her Tablescape Thursday for three years. I ended up with so many dishes, my husband built special shelving for me in our laundry room.

Susan is a talented gal. I will always smile when I think of her.
