We are redoing our guest room for Christmas and I have been looking at holiday bedding online. There seems to be a lot of it out there and it is, indeed, quite lovely.
Do you use holiday bedding during the Christmas season? I never have before except for Christmas pillows. Very much interested in your input and feedback.
Love this set:

I don't. All of our family lives here so we don't needthat bedroom unless our grandsons spend the night. I never did our bedroom because of the short time we're up there. I might if it were in a house with one floor and was visable from other rooms.

@Regal Bee I wish I could do what is in that picture. One day, maybe. For now, I spread throws on the grandkids' beds and place some small pillows and trees on the end tables. However, I LOVE Malden Mills Polarfleece Holiday Print & Solid Sheet Set. I am the only "cold" sleeper in the house, so it isn't good for anyone else.

I love the idea of Christmas bedding, but it's just not worth it for me to change out an entire bed for only a month or so. The extent of my holiday decorating in the bedroom is a holiday throw and a decorative pillow and maybe a holiday decor piece on the dresser or nightstand.
I used to put up a small tree in the bedroom but don't even do that anymore. I must getting old, I just don't have it in me anymore. I'm definitely paring down in all rooms of the house.
It sounds like a lovely idea, if it makes you happy, then go for it. 😊

When my boys were younger & shared a room I always put a small Christmas tree w/children's nativity set (from Home Interiors) and they had snowman flannel sheets & matching quilts on their beds. I even made drapes from twin sheets .... I think back then Ibought the set from Sears catalog.
Their bathroom also was decorated with Santa motif including shower curtain, rugs & towels.
It was so much fun to decorate for Christmas back then! Those definitely were the best years 😊

I love your replies....thanks.
I wouldn't usually think about this except for the fact that we are having my brother and sister in law here, whom I adore and two sets of dear friends...all at different times during the month of December. I just want the room to be extra special. We probably will have to use my husband's study also....he has a sofa bed but I won't decorate it. ![]()
In fact, I may get my sewing machine out. @homedecor1 I used to make everything from sets of sheets....I even sewed them on towels to match the entire bedroom/bathroom.

Our heavy winter comforter has stripes on one side and a holly/bayberry print on the other so I reverse it over Christmas. The picture you posted @Regal Bee is lovely. My friend is an excellent quilter and I was thinking of having her make a Christmas quilt from a kit I found online.

That picture was our bed last year. I kind of went overboard with the pillows.
