I guess all the hosts misspeak sometimes.  It's bound to happen when you are speaking before a crowd or in this case in front of cameras.  It's just that Shawn does it so often and makes no apologies for it.  It makes me, as a viewer, feel that she disrespects us and doesn't take the job she should be doing seriously. Her primary function should be to give us accurate information about a product so we can make an informed decision.   In my opinion, she needs to do her homework, take her job more seriously, and be more professional and truthful in her presentations!  Until then, I turn her off.

OP is correct. That is exactly what she said. It had nothing to do with easy pay. It was a gross misstatement. Beyond that after an hour I had to turn the show off. Shawn and Sue are not a good combination in my book. Too much babbling. And Shawn really needs to lighten up on the status, horsey etc references to the bags. I tell you I liked the last show with Jane alone so much better. I know some didn't like the bag throwing but I felt like she covered the bags so much better without trying to sell us on the supposed pretension of the brand.

Yep, I saw Jane and the bag throwing and thought that was funny, in a good way!

Today when Shawn made the statement about no other retailers putting Dooneys on sale, the look on Sue's face was priceless!

Did anyone else hear Shawn reference Carolyn Gracie's medical condition as a sales tactic for the pink bag? Sorry but that struck me as a no-no..

Yes, I saw her reference to Carolyn's blog and using that as a sales tactic. Bad form is all I gotta say about that.

I used to like her.  I grew weary of her very, very quickly.

And I also agree that her tendency to use sad stories as a regular part of her sales pitch is just so very unfortunate.  I've seen Jill do it too and it's no less unfortunate.

I have to agree stevieb. It's a shame, I've always liked Shawn but feel the same way.
