Watching a 2 hour D&B show with easy pay galore should be fun.  Why is a person who has no appreciation for a "bag",  who has no "stuff to fill" one with, hosting this show?

If Alberti were doing this presentation I could hear about the quality of the leather, the impeccable construction, the utility of my purse.  He knows the difference between a tote and a shopper, a satchel and a drawstring, between patent and coated cotton (not "tack cloth" like some longshoreman).  He'd make a perfect backdrop for any item being sold without having to upstage everyone, everything.

I know he's a guy and I don't care.  He has style, wit, supreme organizational skills and a winning personality.  More Alberti please?

Alberti is a great host no matter what the product.  He is always well prepared on all aspects of each product.  Because he is so articulate with a good vocabulary, he has the talent necessary for good product presentations.  One time he hosted with Louis Dell Olio and his Linea line. Of course, Alberti did not wear the clothing, but he was very well versed in sizes, fabric etc. Alberti is an asset for QVC.

Alberti is so intelligent and charming. The designer of Dooney is a man.

I also enjoy Alberti but haven't seen many of his shows because of the time they are on.  I check his Facebook sometimes and love when he shares photos of his dogs and his home.  He is a very talented person.

While I agree that he is always well prepared, I haven't been able to find anything about him that draws me in.  I'll take the Dans and Rick any day.

Yes, and it shows, with the bags lacking features many women look for in a bag.

love my Dooney bags, but I still agree with this statement.  I want more slip pockets on the outside, more card slots in wallets, and wider straps on the crossbody bags.

I agree, @CoG! Alberti is a class act and can sell anything because he's prepared and professional. I know some people don't like it when he sells jewelry, makeup, or skincare, but as long as he knows his stuff, I'm fine with that. The first time I ever went to a MAC cosmetics counter, way back in the 90s, it was a man who helped me out. He helped me pick shadows and a lipstick that I loved and repurchased. The fact that he was a man made no difference in his ability to know his product, listen to what I was looking for, and match what I wanted to his product range.
