Do you have any details on the split and his re-marriage? Did he and Kathy have any children? (if you know)
@pdlinda. I have no idea who Bruce remarried. I saw a notice somewhere online. In think Bruce and Kathy had a child shortly after she disappeared. Remember when he built and tried forever to sell a $250M house in Beverly Hills or other trendy neighborhood? I wonder if he sold it and for how much?

@Kachina624 It eventually sold for $95M. I'm surprised to read that they divorced. They both seem to stay away from publicity these days.

@willowbark I am a handbag collector and have a wide range of purses going back, (one from 1896). i have a couple BM. in storage somewhere. Nothing is made like it used to be made. I have handbags from many designer labels. . I was rummaging through handbag bins in storage, I noticed Kate Spade when it was made in NY, and many of the top designers used to make in USA, Paris Or Italy ..now over seas. They seem to lower thickness, or quality of leather a tad, and downgrade quality of hardware in an effort to lower prices, as costs have risen over the years. I am talking about handbags in the $ 50 to $1000 range. Top bags like LV, Prada, MOSCHINO, fendi and others ..have kept quality and just raised prices as they sell to a different income bracket and buyer for those bags. Jmo .

Bruce makowsky home sold 95 million
"Only the selling price was a far cry from the ambitious initial asking; the gargantuan 12-bedroom, 21-bathroom mansion commanded a sale price of $94 million, a striking 62 percent markdown from its 2017 price — that made it the most expensive U.S. home at the time."Only the selling price was a far cry from the ambitious initial asking; the gargantuan 12-bedroom, 21-bathroom mansion commanded a sale price of $94 million, a striking 62 percent markdown from its 2017 price — that made it the most expensive U.S. home at the time.

I remember them being on QVC a lot back then, she was much quieter, and he was louder and constantly on the go-throwing bags and such. I remember he loved working with Lisa Robertson as she sold his bags out most evenings....
He seems like a smart and savvy businessman-she seemed much quieter, I do remember hearing that they were having a baby right after they both left QVC and moved to California.
I never purchased either of their bags, I did not like hers at all, but there a few of his that I liked-just never purchased. I just read where he is worth 450 million!!!

Many all-leather bags are heavy!
For years, I wanted a Bottega Veneta bag. They had woven leather exteriors and were soft beyond belief.
One day, I saw one in Neiman Marcus and talked to the sales associate .... the bag I liked weighed EIGHT POUNDS EMPTY.
That was it for me.

@Tinkrbl44 omg yes!!!! I have a couple old Coach Legacy (?) bags, I think they are called. From around 2006. The leather is thick, and lots of hardware. At the time it was a 700 bag, on sale for 299, so I snagged it. I wore it twice it was so heavy, knew that buying it, but so excited didn't think. When I put wallet and a couple items in it it was like 10 lbs. sat in closet all these years. During Covid I gave my granddaughter some bags to sell on posh mark for loot, when she was out of work. lol, people wanted it, but inquired about the weight, lol ...no sale when they heard! We even lowered it to 50 bucks. My husband wound up doing something with it for his motorcycle. He made a pouch or something. His friends always asked where they could buy one. They loved it. He told them, "well, first you start with a $700 purse your wife doesn't want". lol lol
