Regarding his original work at Qvc

I own 5 plus 2 wristlets and so far at the q nothing compares to the incredible softness and quality of leather.  But not only that the workmanship is impeccable.  

I am a big fan of Aimee K but her bags by comparison are inferior to B Makowsky.

I have never had one of his bags fall apart or had a faulty zipper, yet I have had a few lemons in Aimee's line.  

I am so glad I kept these gems.  They are beautiful.

I remember B Makowsky handbags on QVC. Never purchased one but thinking about it now I wish I had. They were great quality.

@willowbark   I only have one BM crossbody.  It's beautiful.  Red!  The softest leather.  I've used it many, many times.  It's probably 20 years old.  It looks brand new.

i still have a number of my BMAK handbags AND my KVZ handbags.

still going strong.

i do miss them on QVC, but i guess they are making tons of money in the home building/designing industry/real estate industry.

I had several but got rid of most.  I wish that I had kept them.  Oh well, I think I might have one last bag of his up in my closet.  I will have to get up in there and take a look.

Agree...B Makowsky was a beautiful, quality leather handbag unlike no other for sure. Mine was a gorg. silver matalic large shoulder bag & well organized. Loved that bag! Unfortunetly ,I couldn't wear it anymore because it was too heavy for me to carry... My daugher enjoys it now. I have seen that particular handbag on e-bay & very expensive! 

ETA: @willowbark  Makowsky's wife also made handbags. The name of the handbags is on the tip of my tongue. They were popular at the time. Do you remember the name? I saw a youtube doco. of Makowsky a few yrs back. Have you seen it?

Was it Kathy Van Zeeland handbags? Like Bruce Makowsky was B Makowsky handbags. Not sure @Kabella

@willowbark.  Did you know Bruce and Kathy are divorced now?  I believe he has remarried.
