Beautiful breezy day in the garden today.  High 70’s.

Here is Ms. Seahorse by the lake, sealed and, as yet, unnamed.

@Lilysmom Your gardens are beautiful. Thank you for sharing. What is your average temp during the summer?

@OKPrincess, today it was 80F or 25C.  That is a warm day for June.  June mainly 70’s or cooler.  July and August 75-85F.  September is 70’s.  Those are more likely closer to historical norms.  We all know how we are experiencing extremes more often.  We do get in the 90’s but that is not a regular occurrence.  September is getting warmer every year.  More like August than June.

Our weather is much like Maine, the closest US state to us.  At one time, no one ever thought of having A/C.  Now it is the norm.  LM

I just figured your weather would be cooler all the time considering your location. Your gardens are so lovely but I know you can have brutally cold winters too. We are at 86 right now. Enjoy your gardens and sweet puppy.

@OKPrincess, our winters have changed too and that brings unexpected consequences in the garden.  The winters are not harsh enough to kill some bugs now so we are getting pests that normally would not survive our winter.  Like ticks, wooly adelgid (attacks Canadian Hemlock) emerald ash borer (attacks Ash trees).  LM
