If you have hydrangea's, what do you use to fertilize them, mine did poorly last year,i think they get too much sun.

I don't use anything special - just maybe MiracleGro if I think of it.  Mine always do well and they get a lot of sun.

If they get a lot of PM sun you will see leaf scorch on the edges. Try and move it now to a more shady PM spot on your property.

I use Espoma Plant Tone 1X/ year in spring.

You could also use Espoma Holly Tone since hydrangeas are acid loving plants.

Hydrangeas did badly last year, I got hardly any blooms.. A late freeze did a lot of damage to them. I hope it will be better this year.

I have mine in a large pot.  It gets  some morning sun till around noon.  I had to move it semi under my front porch.  It did not like full sun.   It wasn't looking too good recently, so I pruned it back, and put 2 tablespoons of epsom salt, watered in well.  2 weeks after that, I used miracle  grow..I followed dosage on container, added to 2 gallons of water.   The plant now has new bright green leaves, and little flower buds in the centers.   Glad I didn't dump it.
