I always buy a new pair of sunglasses.  It is a small purchase that I enjoy.

I don't have any accessories I update on a regular or seasonal basis.  If my handbag matches the current season, it's usually luck because I buy a bag I love and carry it for months, maybe a year or more, until I find another I love more OR need to switch to a different size bag for an event. I bought an aqua Dooney bag last spring and I've been carrying it ever since, so now it's current again in the same way a broken clock is right twice a day.

I'm with you on the sunglasses, but mostly because I buy cheapies and they break, get scratched, or I lose them.

I almost always buy a new pair of sandals or sneakers, and sometimes a necklace or bracelet.

What beautiful jewelry and shoes!  From the pictures, it looks like the J Crew necklace coordinates nicely with the shoes.

Re. sunglasses, I only buy cheapies, too.  However, this year I almost bought a pair from Banana Republic.  They were $98.  Then, I found a pair at JCP that were very similar to the BR sunglasses.  I paid $13 (sale and coupon) for them!

I bought a new white skirt today at Dress Barn.  My old one was looking dingy and I will wear this all summer.  I also bought a new red tee shirt at Dress Barn, a navy check and polka dot scarf at Charming Charlies and a navy and pink necklace there also.
