I put Qvc on a minute ago and that is the first thing that ran through my mind...lol  Pat and SG alll swathed in heavy somber black clothes.  They look like two sisters at a family funeral...lol   I understand that they are clearing out last year's fall/winter items but it's a fashion segment.  They should at least be wearing cute fall outfits.

Funny; you're right, but I didn't even notice. I wear black so much myself--year round.....it is my "neutral."

I didn't really notice or think funeral at all. I guess I'm just used to seeing people wear lots of black all the time. I rarely solid wear black from head to toe. I like to wear colorful or printed tops with black bottoms.

I just noticed it too. Nothing wrong with that.I often wear black head to toe. Sometimes DH asks me if I'm going to a funeral.

We'll wear black several times a week, but not a color.  It's "too much"!

Rarely do I wear all black. It's casts darkness onto my face and makes me look drawn and tired looking.

I rarely watch anything on QVC. I look at the program schedule on line. This time, I decided to look to see the TSV. It only took a New York Minute for me to speed past. What a mediocre (at best) TSV. Those rings are tiny and boring.

I noticed a while back that Pat seems to ALWAYS be wearing black lately. Is she in mourning or something? She's SO pretty and looks GREAT in the pastels she use to wear. Did someone ask her if she gained weight and now it's black all the time to look thinner? I wish she'd get back to the pretty colors she use to wear. I even tracked down one of the Soft Surroundings tops she wore (in aqua not black!) on air a looooong time ago and hoped it would look as good on me as it did on her!. What happened to bring on the all the time black outfits? It's depressing.

I wear black in moderation, but my staple is black slacks, and different color tops, jackets, cardigans, shoes, bags, etc.  I take the NYC subway to work every day.  One morning I'm standing there just like every morning, and I happened to just glance around at all the people on that subway car.  EVERYONE, men and women alike, was wearing either a black coat, jacket or parka.  Not another color to be seen.  I had to chuckle to myself because the first thought that popped into my mind was that it looked like we were all going to the same funeral somewhere.  BTW, my coat was charcoal gray, so I was the only "color" in that mass of black...lol...

I always wear black.

I try not to wear head to toe black - but sometimes I do.
