When Rhonda Shear had her TSV briefs recently I broke down and bought the briefs and matching bras. I had tried her bras before and returned, but figured I'd give it one more chance.

I do like the briefs, and am thinking of keeping the bras too.

When the bras arrived the pads were a little dented, so I washed and hung them and they seem better.

My question is, can the pads be washed in the bra, or do you have to remove them always and wash separately?? Thanks for your help.

Any thoughts on these bras?? The cups/pads do seem a little big. I got a size Medium.

I always take my pads out, but now that you brought it up, I'm sure they are fine to leave in, if laundered on delicate. I put mine in a mesh bag, and hang dry.

I like them. There are limits as to what you can wear them under, but they actually compliment some things. They fit me well and are comfortable.

I like wearing the matching sets. I think they are sexy in a retro way. I'm glad I purchased. I have every set from the last special. I am big busted so I always wear a bra. So particularly at home, they are very comfy.

Great, thanks Reba055. I will wash them in a bag too.

When Rhonda was presenting the bras she said to take the pads out when you washed them....

That aside..I odered all three sets of bras...and I had to send them back...I loved them...they fit around my circumference so much better then the Genie bras i have...but the cup size was too big...I don't have much in the way of breasts...so the cups overwhelmed me...i laundered one hoping for it to shrink some...but it did not...I could have cried when i sent them back...

If I opt to keep a removalble pad in a bra I usually do not remove it for laundering.  The pad will probably need some adjusting after coming out of the washer, but in my experience they are fine left in.  Please note: I always wash bras on delicate cycle,  in a protective mesh laundry bag.  Also, it is wise for Rhomda -- or any vendor-- to err on the side of caution when doling out laundry advice.  If they don't, it usually comes back to bite them. Using Ahh as an example if Rhonda didn't say don't some fdouble o L would wash the bras in hot water with the towels, and then toss the bra in the dryer on high heat, thus ruining the pads... and they would blame Rhonda.

I'm surprised to learn that there are pads in the RS bras that she had on as a today's special a couple of weeks ago.  I didn't buy these but I did buy a 4pk of her's of the ah bra.  I was SO disappointed to find out that these have no pads.  Back they went.

I wear nothing but genie bras now ever since they were here at the Q.  NOt here any longer though VERY unfortunately.  I have TONS of them in LOTS of colors but in search still for a fuchia one.  I try and try to order colors from their site directly but it never works for me.

In the meanwhile about washing these, I never take my pads out of mine when I do laundry.  It would be no more easy to remove before washing than it is to fix them inside afterwards.  And since many of us sweat, I would not want to not wash the pads too.

Re: Rhonda Shear Pin Up bra

[ Edited ]

I avoid anything that has the removable pads in it. I used to take the pads out before washing the item (s) because the pads would usually twist in the wash (machine washed delicate cycle in a lingerie bag) Afterwards, I'd have a heck of a time getting the dang pads back into the item so I stopped buying anything that has them.

Thanks for all your input.

Maybe I'll try washing them both ways and see how it goes.

I don't forsee me wearing them in a daily, regular rotation, so shouldn't be too much trouble.
