Re: Snug Jeans: sleek or just too tight?

I prefer relaxed fit (not baggy) jeans or bootcut jeans. Tight doesn't work for me. I like Levis, Lee Riders or Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda brands.

Slim fit works for me.  I can't stand the baggy thigh/rear look.  On me, the tighter fit around the backside/legs is a much better look than extra fabric crinkling up with nowhere to go.  That's why I prefer jeans like the NYDJ Spanspring or the DG2 Infinity.

I only like straight leg pants and jeans, or even slightly tapered.  Having tight pants that are hugging my legs all around would drive me crazy.  I don't think they look good either.

As far as boot cut pants "evening out" your hips, well, I don't buy that theory.

Just too tight.

If you need "coverage" .... you probably shouldn't wear them.

I don't own any tight pants - I don't go anywhere that it's appropriate to wear things like that.

I think the photo featuring the jeans was unflattering to both of the models. They looked tight and uncomfortable.

I am slim, have long legs and like skinny fit jeans but never a fit like leggings. I don't wear shopping channel jeans because I have never found a pair that fits me correctly. They have always been too big in the caboose.😄

Back in the day, jeans were bought based on how well-fitting they were.  Some even looked like expensive tailored slacks.  AND they were comfortable to wear!

Re: Snug Jeans: sleek or just too tight?

I am a 14-16 in jeans at brick and mortar stores, so NO i do not want pants or jeans or any other garment to be tight on me.  I try to hide my flaws, not accentuate them.

I'm a very small person. I like my jeans to fit snug but not tight where the fabric looks rippled. I will not wear jeans if there's any bagging in the butt. That's wear I draw the line. My jeans have to fit snug on my back side or else I'm not wearing them.

Would you like to trade bodies? LOL.  I bet you work hard to keep your slender figure, so you deserve to wear them snug. Smiley Happy

The last time I wore skin tight jeans they had the name Gloria Vanderbilt on them.
