Trying something different for summer since I have enough button front blouses already!

Both of these blouses are light as a feather even with the long sleeves and high necks.  I've been wearing both to run errands, shop, lunch, and dinner in 80+/low humidity weather with no problem.

BLOUSE #1...

This one was thrifted...rayon Status by Chenault, NWT.  I wasn't sure about the "lace" trim, but loved the pretty flowy fabric/style and the elasticized balloon (?) sleeve.  It's definitely not my usual style, but I thought it was fun...has a bit of a boho feel.  Obviously, I decided to remove the trim.

As purchased...what do you think of this trim detail?  (Necklace too heavy.)

Might have kept the trim had it been anything other than brown flowers...truly did not understand that at all!

With trim removed...

Preferred a lighter necklace (Lucky Brand tiered)...blue and tan colors are predominate with splashes of yellow...

BLOUSE #2...

This one is a LOVE.  Linen/viscose blend from Soft Surroundings with a beautiful pleated sleeve detail...great drape and hand...

Opinions welcome.

Enjoy your week!

@MacDUFF  I love both.  Number 1 is light and airy, and the trim would not bother me as I would think of dried flowers.  I do love the sleeve detail on Number 2.  Great buys.  Enjoy them and wear them in good health.

Both tops are lovely!  They look so comfortable and roomy and that for me is important.  The styles are also appealing, very pretty choices!

They both look great on you.  I prefer the first top with the trim removed, especially the trim around the arms. I myself would never even think to do that. It looked too busy, too boxy with the trim.  Enjoy your new blouses.

Love both blouses. Agree that #1 is much better looking with that trim removed.

Enjoy and wear both blouses in good health for many months to come.

Like both of them.

Number 2 is my special favorite.

Love the round handbag, too.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Really lightens up the look w/ the trim removed and I think improves the look of the blouse. Both blouses are very pretty.
