Picked up one of the Shackets a while ago. it was cute, plaid, fuzzy and  lined (many are not lined)    sometimes i take selfies of new items before removing tags.

Just not for me!!  just the chest pockets alone looked like a couple saddlebags.    i looked like a weeble.

I've worn almost all my button front shirts as "shackets" at one time or another - depending on the season and the shirt. - for years.

It's quite common around here (NYC).

Me too.  At one time said an old lady thing.  Well guess I'm not so old after all.. Lol

Mine are not so oversized as.now.  But I am having fun with it.

I don't like that made up word either.  We called them shirt jackets when they were popular a few years ago.  I also don't like them pretending that they haven't been around before now.

They may be called shackets, but to me they scream FARGO.

This is the dumbest term for a piece of clothing I have ever heard.  Why can't people call clothing by their regular names?  Like QVC's awful term "rock" the look.  What does that even mean?  So silly!
