I hate the ruffle look... reminds me of clown clothes.

Ugh.    Not a fan.   I agree with the poster who said they look clownish.    (JMO, folks.)

@Witchy Woman  Never been one for ruffles..or pleating...or beading. I'm very tailored and simple and minimal in my selections...even when I was younger.

Do all designers get together before deciding what to do for the season and say "ruffles" or "shirts & tops that tie or stop at the waist"? Isn't it strange that one trend is in every store or every site at once? They must collaborate.

This cardigan is adorable!...I would need a different color though.

And I love this tee...adds a nice little flair to a plain tee.

@Shanus

Um ... yes and no.   Like any other industry, people know people who work for other companies .... if one of the people on the design team tells their friend "Ralph Lauren is doing plaid vests for his winter collection" ... other interpretations will pop up at other design companies.  Perhaps there are other ways this happens, but this is one of them.

No way, no how.  No skirts for me.  I went to a Catholic high school and wore gray wool skirts just above the knee with a dress shirt and knee highs. Smiley Happy

my skirt was dk green black watch plaid w/cream blazer.
